On Monday, February 18th, the Miami-Dade Democratic Party's executive committee will hold elections for a new Chair of the party. The Chair serves as leader of the local party, working with local clubs and leaders to engage and inform voters around important issues and elections.
Representing 600K+ voters, Miami-Dade has the largest number of registered Democrats of any county in Florida.
We thank Juan Cuba for his dedication as Chair for the past two years. After stepping down, a number of qualified candidates have come forward to run for the position. The candidates participated in a forum on Friday, February 8th at the Frankie Shannon Rolle Center.

The election will take place at the next Democratic Executive Committee meeting. These meetings are open to the public, but only members of the committee elect the Chair.
