Miami-Dade Democratic Party Launches Haitian American Radio Outreach

Miami, FL: Today the Miami-Dade Democratic Party launches its Haitian American Radio campaign. A combination of 320 interviews and commercials will air across 4 Haitian American radio stations beginning on Friday, September 25 and running until Election Day. The campaign will be voiced by North Miami Vice Mayor Alix Desulme and Haitian American radio personality Herntz Phanord, and will air on WQVN 1360 AM Radyo Pep La, WLQY 1320 AM Radio Tout Mou’n Jwen, WSRF 1580 Radio Haiti Amerique International, and WJCC 1700 AM Radio Mega.

Miami-Dade Democrats Make Multiple Endorsements in County and Municipal Races

MIAMI-DADE, FL: The Miami-Dade Democratic Party has made multiple endorsements in County races as well as in the Town of Cutler Bay, the City of North Miami Beach and the City of Sunny Isles Beach. 

At the County level: The Miami-Dade Democratic Party voted to endorse Representative Kionne McGhee for County Commissioner for District 9. Rep. McGhee is the outgoing Democratic Leader of the Florida House. 

At the School Board level: The Miami-Dade Democratic Party voted to endorse Luisa Santos for School Board in District 9. The Party had previously endorsed, during the August 18th Primary Election, Lucia Baez-Geller for School Board in District 3, and Dr. Mara Zapata for School Board in District 5.

In the Town of Cutler Bay: The Miami-Dade Democratic Party has voted unanimously to recommend Michael Callahan for the position of Vice Mayor of Cutler Bay. 

In the City of North Miami Beach: The Miami-Dade Democratic Party has made several endorsements. The Party voted overwhelmingly to endorse Bruce Kusens for Mayor. The Party also made recommendations to endorse two incumbent City Commissioners: McKenzie Fleurimond in Group 5, and Michael Joseph in Group 7.

In the City of Sunny Isles Beach: The Miami-Dade Democratic Party has endorsed two sitting City Commissioners for re-election: Larisa Svechin in Seat 1, and Dana Goldman in Seat 3.
