The new Miami-Dade Democratic Executive Committee becomes official on December 1, 2024. The members who qualified earlier this year can be found here at the Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections website
On Saturday, December 14th, 2024, 9 am to 12 pm, at the AFSCME Hall, 4349 NW 36th St, Miami Springs FL 33166, the Miami-Dade Democratic Executive Committee (DEC) will hold our reorganizational meeting, electing six officers and 38 State Committee Members.
The Officers that will be elected from among the DEC membership are Chair, First Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Program Vice Chair, and Outreach Vice Chair. Candidates were able to submit their name to run for multiple offices but can only be elected to one Officer position.
Any registered Democrat who is a resident of Miami-Dade County is eligible to run for State Committee Member, whether they’re a member of the DEC or not, except for the newly elected DEC Chair since they would already be an automatic member of the FDP Executive Committee.
The deadline to apply has passed. It was 11/30/2024 at 11:59pm EST.
