9.07M Florida ballots cast out of 14.4M, now at 63%. Florida Democrats with a 115K vote lead over Republicans (3.54 vs 3.43M). 1.27M mailed ballots either uncounted or unreturned. Looking at in-person voting, 4.33M voters have turned out, with Republicans showing up at the polls in larger numbers (1.95M) vs Democrats (1.4M). 

1M ballots counted in Miami-Dade early voting (412K Dems vs. 310K Republicans). 170K mailed ballots pending return or processing in Miami-Dade. Republicans turnout at 74% is sizably ahead of Democrats at 65%. 216K Democrats in Miami-Dade have yet to cast their ballot. Looking at in-person voting, 4.32M voters have turned out, with Republicans showing up at the polls in larger numbers (1.95M) vs Democrats (1.4M). 

1M ballots counted in Miami-Dade early voting (408K Dems vs. 308K Republicans). 180K mailed ballots pending return or processing in Miami-Dade. Republicans turnout at 73.7% is sizably ahead of Democrats at 65%. 220K Democrats in Miami-Dade have yet to cast their ballot. Overall voter participation of 65% is slightly ahead of the state as a whole.

8.7M Florida ballots cast out of 14.4M, now at 60%. Florida Democrats with a 95K vote lead over Republicans (3.41 vs 3.31M). 1.41M mailed ballots to be counted. Looking at in-person voting, 4.11M voters have turned out, with Republicans showing up at the polls in larger numbers (1.88M) vs Democrats (1.32M). 

956K ballots counted in Miami-Dade early voting (390K Dems vs. 296K Republicans). 190K mailed ballots pending return or processing in Miami-Dade. Republicans turnout at 70% is sizably ahead of Democrats at 62%. Overall voter participation of 62% is slightly ahead of the state as a whole.

Looking at in-person voting, 3.47M voters have turned out, with Republicans showing up at the polls in larger numbers (1.6M) vs Democrats (1.13M). 

859K ballots counted in Miami-Dade early voting (355K Dems vs. 269K Republicans). 219K mailed ballots pending return or processing in Miami-Dade. Republicans turnout at 64% is now sizably ahead of Democrats at 56%. Overall voter participation of 55% is slightly ahead of the state as a whole.

7.38M Florida ballots cast out of 14.4M, now at 51%. Florida Democrats with a 206K vote lead over Republicans (2.99M vs 2.78M). 1.77M mailed ballots to be counted. Looking at in-person voting, 3.16M voters have turned out, with Republicans showing up at the polls in larger numbers (1.46M) vs Democrats (1.04M). 

808K ballots counted in Miami-Dade early voting (336K Dems vs. 253K Republicans). 255K mailed ballots pending return or processing in Miami-Dade. Republicans turnout at 60% is now sizably ahead of Democrats at 53%. Overall voter participation of 52% is slightly ahead of the state as a whole.

6.9M Florida ballots cast out of 14.4M, now at 48%. Florida Democrats with a 245K vote lead over Republicans (2.84M vs 2.59M). 1.92M mailed ballots to be counted. Looking at in-person voting, 2.8M voters have turned out, with Republicans showing up at the polls in larger numbers (1.32M) vs Democrats (953K). 

753K ballots counted in Miami-Dade (316K Dems vs. 236K Republicans). 255K mailed ballots pending return or processing in Miami-Dade. Republicans and Democrats are neck and neck in turn out, Republicans at 56% turnout and Democrats at 50%. Overall voter participation of 49% is slightly ahead of the state as a whole.

6.4M Florida ballots cast out of 14.4M, now at 44%. Florida Democrats with a 302K vote lead over Republicans (2.68M vs 2.38M). 2.09M mailed ballots to be counted. Note, looking at in-person voting, 2.5M voters have turned out, with Republicans showing up at the polls in larger numbers (1.17M) vs Democrats (859K). 

700K ballots counted in Miami-Dade (298K Dems vs. 218K Republicans). 271K mailed ballots pending return or processing in Miami-Dade. Republicans and Democrats are neck and neck in turn out, Republicans at 52% turnout and Democrats at 47%. Overall voter participation of 45% is slightly ahead of the state as a whole.

6M Florida ballots cast out of 14.4M, now at 42%. Florida Democrats with a 354K vote lead over Republicans (2.55M vs 2.2M). 2.18M mailed ballots to be counted. Note, looking at in-person voting over first full week, 2.2M voters have turned out, with Republicans showing up at the polls in larger numbers (1M) vs Democrats (766K). 

656K ballots counted in Miami-Dade (282K Dems vs. 202K Republicans). 279K mailed ballots pending return or processing in Miami-Dade. Republicans and Democrats are neck and neck in turn out, Republicans at 48% turnout and Democrats at 45%. Overall voter participation of 42% is even with the state as a whole.

5.7M Florida ballots cast out of 14.4M, now at 40%. Florida Democrats with a 364K vote lead over Republicans (2.44M vs 2.08M). 2.26M mailed ballots to be counted. Note, looking at in-person voting over first six days, 2M voters have turned out, with Republicans showing up at the polls in larger numbers (926K) vs Democrats (696K). 

608K ballots counted in Miami-Dade (265K Dems vs. 186K Republicans). 297K mailed ballots pending return or processing in Miami-Dade. 5.28M Florida ballots cast out of 14.4M, now at 37%. Florida Democrats with a 390K vote lead over Republicans (2.29M vs 1.9M). 2.4M mailed ballots to be counted. Note, looking at in-person voting over first five days, 1.7M voters have turned out, with Republicans showing up at the polls in larger numbers (800K) vs Democrats (607K). 

553K ballots counted in Miami-Dade (244K Dems vs. 167K Republicans). 315K mailed ballots pending return or processing in Miami-Dade. Republicans and Democrats are neck and neck in turn out, Republicans at 40% turnout and Democrats at 39%. However, overall voter participation of 36% lags slightly behind the state as a whole.

As of Friday 9:00am (10/23)...

4.77M Florida ballots cast out of 14.4M, now at 33%. Florida Democrats with a 427K vote lead over Republicans (2.11M vs 1.68M). 2.5M mailed ballots to be counted. Note, looking at in-person voting over first four days, 1.4M voters have turned out, with Republicans showing up at the polls in larger numbers (641K) vs Democrats (500K). 

488K ballots counted in Miami-Dade (220K Dems vs. 145K Republicans). 334K mailed ballots pending return or processing in Miami-Dade. Republicans and Democrats are neck and neck in turn out, with 35% of registered voters turning out so far from each party. However, overall voter participation of 32% lags slightly behind the state as a whole.

As of Thursday 9:30am (10/22)...

4.25M Florida ballots cast out of 14.4M, now at 30%. Florida Democrats with a 463K vote lead over Republicans (1.92M vs 1.46M). 2.7M mailed ballots to be counted. Note, looking at in-person voting over first three days, 1M voters have turned out, with Republicans showing up at the polls in larger numbers (483K) vs Democrats (392K). 

426K ballots counted in Miami-Dade (197K Dems vs. 124K Republicans). 352K ballots pending return or processing in Miami-Dade. 

As of Wednesday 10:30am (10/21)...

3.67M Florida ballots cast out of 14M, now at 26%. Florida Democrats with a 486K vote lead over Republicans (1.7M vs 1.22). 2.9M mailed ballots to be counted. Note, looking at in-person voting over first two days, 720K voters have turned out, with Republicans showing up at the polls in larger numbers (321K) vs Democrats (280K).

3M Florida ballots cast out of 14M, now at 21%. Florida Democrats with a 479K vote lead over Republicans (1.432M vs 953K). 3.15M mailed ballots to be counted. Note, in the first day of in-person voting on Monday 10/19, 339K voters turned out, with a slight lead in Republicans (144K) vs Democrats (140K).

2.1M Florida ballots cast out of 14M, now at 15%. Florida Democrats with a 420K vote lead over Republicans (1.043M vs 623K). 3.6M ballots to be counted. 149K ballots counted in Miami-Dade (76K Dems vs. 37K Republicans). 484K ballots pending return or processing in Miami-Dade.

1.92M Florida ballots cast out of 14M, now at 14%. Florida Democrats with a 400K vote lead over Republicans (967K vs 564K). 3.75M ballots to be counted. 142K ballots counted in Miami-Dade (73K Dems vs. 35K Republicans). 487K ballots pending return or processing in Miami-Dade. 

As of Tuesday 11am (10/13)...

1.8M Florida ballots cast out of 14M voters, now at 13%. Florida Democrats have a 374K vote lead over Republicans (905K vs 521K). 3.85M ballots to be counted. 128K ballots counted from Miami-Dade (66K Dems vs. 31K Republicans). 497K ballots still waiting to be returned or processed in Miami-Dade.

As of Monday 2pm (10/12)...

1.6M ballots have been cast in Florida, representing 12% of all Florida voters. Florida Democrats now have a 360K vote lead over Republican voters (850K to 488K). 3.9 mailed ballots have yet to be counted. Miami-Dade numbers remain unchanged.

As of Saturday noon (10/10)...

Florida Democrats now have a 340K vote lead (792K to 450K). 4M ballots have yet to be counted. In Miami-Dade, we have already seen 90K votes counted (47K Democrats), with an outstanding 520K mailed ballots still in pending status.

As of Friday morning (10/9)...

Florida Democrats carried a 300K vote lead over Republican voters (707K vs. 396K). 4.2M mailed ballots have not been counted yet.

In Miami-Dade, we have already seen 68K votes counted, with an outstanding 542K mailed ballots still in pending status. There are 1.54M registered voters in Miami-Dade, so that means that roughly 40% of voters will receive their ballot in the mail. 36K Democrats have returned their ballots, with 241K Democrats still holding on to their ballots at home or in the process of being sent back.


Make a plan, if you have not mailed your ballot before October 17, please bring to one of the many early voting locations in Miami-Dade. If you did not request a ballot, registered voters can still just show up at any early voting location and vote.

Early reports have indicated that there are voters who are forgetting to sign the envelope before sending back. These ballots will be rejected, but voters can use www.checkmyballot.com to validate their vote was counted. If the vote was not counted, we have created the following reference to "cure" the ballot. PLEASE SIGN YOUR ENVELOPE.
