Miami Beach Primary Forum to Bring Together U.S. Senate, Governor, Congressional, and State House Candidates on June 18
RSVP for the Miami Beach Primary Forum
Voters from across Miami-Dade County will have a unique opportunity to hear directly from candidates seeking some of Florida's most important elected offices at the upcoming Miami Beach Dems Primary Forum on June 18, 2026, at the historic Hotel Marseilles in Miami Beach.
The evening will be moderated by Alfonso "Poncho" de Anda, Democratic Executive Committee member and well-known television presenter, who will guide a conversation focused on the issues that matter most to South Florida voters.
Confirmed participants include:
- Angie Nixon, candidate for U.S. Senate
- Oliver Larkin, candidate for Florida's 25th Congressional District
- Dayna Marie Foster, candidate for Governor of Florida
- Lucia Baez-Geller, candidate for Florida House (District 106)
- Ashley Litwin Diego, candidate for Florida House (District 106)
With competitive races taking shape across Florida, organizers say the forum is designed to help voters compare candidates side-by-side, learn about their priorities, and engage directly with the people seeking to represent them.
"Democracy works best when voters have the opportunity to hear from candidates directly and ask thoughtful questions," said organizers of the event. "This forum is about providing information, encouraging civic engagement, and helping voters make informed decisions before ballots are cast."
The event is open to the public and is expected to draw Democrats, independents, and politically engaged residents from throughout Miami-Dade County.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as seating may be limited.
The forum, presented by the Miami Beach Democratic Club in partnership with local Democratic organizations, will bring together candidates running for U.S. Senate, Governor, State House, and other key offices ahead of the August primary election.As Florida prepares for another consequential election cycle, the forum offers voters an opportunity to hear directly from candidates, compare visions for the future, and participate in the democratic process before heading to the polls.
