Wednesday, May 22: Kendall Democrats with Annette Taddeo

At the Kendall Democrats May monthly meeting on Wednesday, Senator Annette Taddeo will be our guest speaker to talk about what the Florida Legislature did this session. Please stop by at 6PM for our new ACTION HOUR during which we'll be having a phone bank, sign petitions, and sign you up for a committee.

Time: Wednesday, May 22 at 7pm-9pm
Location: 8625 SW 124th Ave, Miami, FL, 33183
At 7 PM, we'll hear from our Florida State Senator Annette Taddeo. Taddeo represents District 40, which covers most of Kendall. Taddeo will be summarizing this year's recently finished legislative session, which included losses like the building of toll roads through panther territory, a ban on sanctuary cities, rollbacks on healthcare regulations and a bill that does not allow felons to vote while they pay off their fines, fees and restitution, what appears to be yet another means of suppressing the rights of low-income folks. Please come with questions.

We'll finish off the night with some voter registration training by the Democratic Executive Committee. Let's learn how to turn out some votes.
