President Trump is refusing to fund the Postal Service through the COVID-19 pandemic. As Rep. Gerry Connolly recently tweeted, President Trump personally directed his staff not to fund the vital, constitutionally-created U.S. Postal Service.
Don't let the GOP force our Postal Service into privatization.
We call on Congress to:

provide emergency appropriations to the Postal Service;

eliminate the Postal Service’s current debt; and

require the Postal Service to prioritize medical deliveries and provide it with the flexibility it needs to meet these crisis conditions.
- ensure the U.S. Postal Service has everything it needs to run an effective and orderly vote-by-mail program for every American voter this fall.
