Thank you for stepping up to join the Miami-Dade Democratic Party Voter Protection Team

You picked the right time to do it. Over two full weeks of early voting, we’ll have 33 sites to cover. Come Election Day it’ll be well over 500. And with close races up and down the ballot, some that could decide control of the US House and Senate, Florida may well be “in play.” That puts Miami-Dade in the electoral crosshairs. We need to be ready for Trump, the MAGA RNC, and their local allies to do everything they can to prevent our people from voting.

We put trained, credentialed, Democratic poll watchers inside each key location, and trained observers and rovers outside. Other members of the team reach out to help voters cure rejected mail-in ballots.

Whether you are a lawyer or law student, an activist, or simply an enthusiastic problem solver, we want your help. We will take as much or as little time as you can give, from a few hours to several days.

With your help, we can keep MAGA interference out of the election. Our vigilance will help put Vice-President Harris and Governor Walz in the White House, put Debbie Murcarsel-Powell in the Senate, take back the House, and fill key Commission, School Board, and County administrative positions with the people who ought to be there. With your help, we will be ready. We will ensure that every eligible voter can cast a ballot, and that every ballot properly cast will count.
