Introducing the Blue Letter

I can't believe we are already into August — just a year out from the 2014 primaries! And I also can't thank you all enough for the incredible work you've done this year keeping up the momentum from 2012, organizing your own clubs & groups, & helping us to lay a strong foundation for next year's races.

This month, the Miami Dems launched our brand-new newsletter — the Blue Letter! The Blue Letter contains updates about work by the Dems and our partners, upcoming events, & more. Make sure you sign up here to receive the Blue Letter. We hope you enjoy, and we want your feedback; please email us with suggestions or to share events you'd like included in the newsletter or our new online events calendar.

Don't forget to join us at our upcoming quarterly meeting at the American Legion, Monday, August 12th at 7 pm (RSVP on Facebook), where we'll be electing delegates to the state Democratic conference in October. We received nearly 250 applications this year — and plan to send the largest-ever Dade delegation to the state conference.

Help us beat Broward: Florida's county Democratic parties are competing for the most new voter registrations between now and — and it's up to us to show the rest of the state that Miami-Dade knows voter registration, and we mean business. Sign up here if you'd like to help register voters and our team will connect you with a VR event in your area.

The next year is going to be incredibly important for Florida. I'm so grateful to live and work in Miami-Dade with all of you — people who truly do believe that together we can build a more blue, just, and prosperous Florida from the bottom up.

Forward!
