Vega has an expansive portfolio of experience spanning from senatorial and congressional campaigns, working in the Office of Public Affairs at the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), dabbling in resilience planning and programming at the University of Miami Office of Sustainability, serving as the Director of Humanitarian Relief at the Lambda Theta Alpha Foundation and lastly serving as the Communications Chair at the Progressive Caucus of Miami-Dade County.
A prime focus of Party Communications Chair, Victoria F. Vega is the further political engagement of our non-English speaking communities. She states: “It is imperative that we as a party communicate as frequently and efficiently in the languages that reflect our population aside from English. Failing to do so leaves a huge percentage of our people in the dark and uninformed on matters that directly affect them and their community. I am ready to hit the ground running and execute the work needed to better educate our communities and help elect officials who will fearlessly champion Democratic values!”
