The Democratic Women's Club of Miami is hosting its "Woman of Action" luncheon to kick off the 2014 local, state, and federal election cycle, honoring Venghan "Winnie" Tang as our 2013 'Woman of Action.' RSVP here.

Democrats from around Miami Dade County will come together for a motivational afternoon of networking, recognition and organization, which will honor one of our local and state heroines who was instrumental in getting out the Asian-American vote in the 2012 presidential election. Members of the Democratic Women's Club of Miami Dade are proud to have unanimously selected Venghan "Winnie" Tang as our 2013 honoree. Winnie not only helped co-ordinate the Asian American vote, which produced a 73% voter turnout in 2012, but she is an advocate for immigrant rights and reform, as well as citizenship and family reunification.

The guest speaker for the event will be the honorable Nan Rich, former State Senator and candidate for 2014 Florida Governor.
