Climate Change Rally at Miami's Edge

On Friday, August 9th, former Governor Bill Richardson came to Miami for the #ActOnClimate rally: a special event focusing on climate change, extreme weather, and expected impacts on South Florida's weather and economy. The rally, co-organized by the Miami Dems, the Audubon Florida, the Florida League of Women's Voters, and the National Council of La Raza, brought together advocates, activists, and others who braved the appropriately strange elements — pouring rain interspersed with bright sunshine — to hear Gov. Richardson and State Senator Dwight Bullard speak.
