This is a big year for Democrats across the Country. Help us get off to a strong start. Our goal is to raise $50,000 by the end of February. This will allow us to ramp up our efforts and give us the needed immediate extra capacity to:
- mobilize volunteers for the House District 114 Special Election in May;
- launch a Neighborhood Organizer program where we recruit, train and mobilize Democrats across Miami-Dade;
- continue our candidate training seminars, and start building a more comprehensive candidate development program that includes training, mentoring, and ongoing guidance.
The local Miami-Dade Democratic Party is a self-funded, membership-driven organization of dedicated volunteers. We don't get subsidized by the DNC. We are not going to chase the big corporate checks because that's not how we will build a winning coalition and that's not how we will build long-term political infrastructure in Miami-Dade. We are funded by people like you.
